– A Florida man who died in a car crash was a member of the local shrimp hotpot restaurant, police said.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Friday that 34-year-old David Gaviria of Jacksonville was killed when his vehicle struck a tree and a pickup truck on Interstate 85.
Gavim said he had worked as a waitress at the restaurant.
He was not in the car with Gavilas wife.
Givilas funeral was held Saturday.
The Sheriff’s office said Gavilias family had been notified of his death.
Gavilis death came one day after a man was killed by a driver while trying to flee a traffic stop.
The driver was not charged.
